My daughter has a Toshiba Satellite C650 series laptop. A couple of days ago, it froze on her. She tried ctrl alt dlt, didn’t work. I turned to the internet, bad choice. For the longest, it wouldn’t let me get into the options of repairing the computer or restore. Finally, when I did get in there, it wouldn’t do anything. Didn’t bring up the restore wizard. When you’d try to repair it, it would act like it was pulling up Windows, then it would jsut have a black screen with a white cursor. Then I read online where you can hold down 0 and it will go to restore, wrong. Now it says “check cable connection. PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel PXE ROM. No bootable device – insert boot disk and press any key.” No matter what I do, it will only do that. Unless I plug in my network cable and then it pulls up the mac address when I turn it on and then it goes back to the same message. I don’t know what to do, please help! 😦 This is a link to the detailed specs, jsut click on the ‘detailed specs’ tab. http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=SB&os=&category=&moid=3023704&rpn=PSC2EU&modelFilter=&selCategory=2756709&selFamily=1073768663
Anything you can do or tell me would be greatly appreciated!
